As of date RREL has so far installed more than 25 MWp of solar system in forms of Solar Home System (SHS), solar pumping solutions, telecom solutions, and on-grid roof-top solutions and decentralized solar community electrification projects etc.
RREL has established a fully automated PV module manufacturing plant with a capacity of 18MW, which caters not only captive requirements, but also supplies to other similar organizations and exports abroad.

Since Rahimafrooz won an Ashden Award in 2006 it has continued to design and install new solar systems at an impressive rate. We recently got an update from them detailing their latest milestones. It was jam-packed with firsts.
Rahimafrooz has now installed over 200,000 solar home systems. It has also installed Bangladesh’s first ever specially-designed flood irrigation system, its first water purification system, and its largest centralised off-grid solar system.
